Fred Palmerton was raised with his paternal grandma living in his Christian home. Her constant prayer for him was that he would be in ministry, which he thought ridiculous when he was young. Fred recommitted his life to Jesus in 1973, the same year he purchased the family auto service business.

 

When Fred retired in 2000 he was asked to become a board member of Christian Resources International (CRI), where he transitioned into the role of Executive Director after about five years. Fred says that God has worked on his heart and life circumstances to call him into the greatest work of his life thus far. Married for over 44 years, he lives with his lovely wife Dottie in Michigan. Together they have two children and not enough grandchildren.
